Design Technology Teacher

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join our network of dedicated supply staff. We work with a range of secondary schools and academies who require qualified DT teachers for short-term, long-term, and permanent placements.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality DT lessons following the national curriculum.
* Ensure the safe and effective use of machinery and equipment in the workshop.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Assess, record, and report on students' progress.
* Work collaboratively with other staff to support student achievement.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4.
* Up-to-date Health & Safety certification for the use of machinery in schools (essential).
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
