Overview
Supplier Operations Coordinator - 12 months FTC. The role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of daily supply chain activities, placing and managing purchase orders with OEM suppliers, coordinating logistics and cross-functional teams, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This position reports to the Global Supplier Operations Manager and is part of the Inventory and Production Planning team located in Cambridge and on-site.
Responsibilities
* Execute daily purchase order management: Place and manage daily purchase orders with OEM suppliers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with supply plans.
* Supplier & Logistics Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, logistics team, and internal teams (Accounts Payable, Supply Planning, product managers, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
* Inventory Monitoring: Track and maintain optimal stock levels across the assigned portfolio to prevent stockouts and support service level targets.
* Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier KPIs, identify risks or delays, and drive resolution through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, or logistics.
* Systems Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred
* Experience working with OEM suppliers in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Familiarity with supply planning tools or inventory optimization techniques.
