Overview
Recruitment Consultant specialising in HR and professional office recruitment. We are seeking a dynamic leader to take ownership of our Business Services function, ensuring it delivers efficient, compliant, and scalable support across payroll, finance, systems, and compliance.
In this role, you will:
* Lead and evolve the Business Services function to support growth and profitability
* Oversee payroll, invoicing, and rate card management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Provide strategic direction for the Operational Finance team, delivering robust reporting and risk monitoring
* Ensure compliance with legislation and frameworks, including IR35, AWR, REC guidelines, and umbrella governance
* Drive process automation, system optimisation, and workflow improvements to reduce administrative burden
* Partner with IT, Finance, and client-facing teams to deliver integrated, scalable systems and processes
* Lead on reporting and data analysis, providing insights on profitability, efficiency, and client performance
* Support client onboarding and implementation, ensuring seamless system configuration and rate management
* Act as a point of escalation for complex pay, compliance, or client issues
What we’re looking for
* Proven track record in business operations leadership (recruitment/MSP experience desirable)
* Strong knowledge of payroll, invoicing, finance, and compliance frameworks
* Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
* Experience driving process improvement, system optimisation, and team development
