About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils succeed in their learning. Your responsibilities will include:
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
Encouraging positive learning behaviours and supporting emotional wellbeing.
Assisting in the preparation of classroom resources and displays.
Supporting children in developing confidence, independence, and social skills.
Contributing to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The successful candidate will have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent school-based experience.
Recent experience of working with children in a primary setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
