Core Education is recruiting for an experienced and motivated SENCO to join a specialist SEN provision based in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Role Overview of SENCO role: Position: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) Location: Cheshire Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm (term time only) Timetable: Some teaching & full SENCO duties Type: Temporary to Permanent (for the right candidate) Daily Rate: £200 – £300 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Start date: ASAP The Ideal Candidate for the SENCO role will: Hold a recognised SENCO qualification (preferred) Have proven experience as a SENCO, ideally in a specialist or alternative provision Be confident working with Primary aged children in Key stage 2 Have strong knowledge of SEMH and strategies to support learners effectively Be experienced in managing EHCPs, coordinating support plans, and liaising with multi-agency teams Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for inclusive education This is a rewarding opportunity for a SENCO committed to driving positive outcomes for young people with complex needs.
