Team Leader - Debt Recovery
* Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
* Location: Hatfield
* Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Team Leader to oversee and motivate a team of approximately 10 staff members. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and is committed to achieving performance targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage and motivate a team to ensure performance targets are met and exceeded.
* Set, monitor, and drive performance targets for team members.
* Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews to support staff development.
* Carry out call monitoring, provide coaching, and offer constructive feedback to enhance team skills.
* Handle disciplinary matters and conduct return-to-work interviews as required.
* Liaise with clients, lead client meetings, and provide performance updates to ensure client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other Team Leaders to ensure consistency and uniformity in team management across the company.
* Identify and implement improvements and innovative ideas to enhance team performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a target-driven environment.
* Confident communicator with a firm but fair approach to team management.
* Proactive, organised, and capable of taking initiative in various situations.
* Previous leadership experience in a performance-based environment is highly desirable.
* Experience in debt recovery, utilities, financial services, or credit management is advantageous but not essential.
