Business Intelligence Analyst – Grimsby - £27,000 - £30,000 An exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing, successful service business in Grimsby, who are seeking a proactive and analytically minded Business Intelligence Analyst to join their passionate BI Analyst team. This is a newly created role to enhance the team due to business growth. You will extract, analyse and report business data in order to drive change, and support company performance. This BI team is pivotal in continuing to drive the business forward and provides insight to internal stakeholders to allow them to make key business decisions. Package & Benefits:

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Provide details and insightful solutions to drive performance and support key decision making
* Generate and develop reports using business platforms and BI tools
* Responsible for owning various projects to ensure KPI and business strategies are met
* Extract, manipulate and analysing data on the performance and strategies of the different business streams
* Provide and analyse insightful MI for ongoing requests
* Analyse key data and report KPI’s for performance to Managers
* Reviewing trends to optimise performance and profitability
* Data extraction and manipulation to prepare various weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, including analyse of financial data, internal KPIs
* Develop and prepare various dashboards via SAS and Power BI
* Assist in developing synergy across the business operations, IT system, data head and reported
The ideal candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar analytical role
* Ability to analyse and interpret data, with a logical approach to problem solving
* Forward thinking and proactive
* Have strong experience of Ms Excel, Power BI and SQL database as well as previous experience in an analytical role
* You will need to be a good communicator and able to demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally
* You will have a continuous improvement mentality and be able to demonstrate sound experience in driving improvements based on KPI’s and providing accurate insightful data.
