Early Years Educator (Level 2 or 3) Wanted! Join Our Pre‑School in Sunderland!

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our welcoming pre‑school setting in Sunderland, starting November 17th 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can flourish.
About the Role
You will be working full‑time on a temporary contract, in a setting open all year round: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will play a crucial role in the development and education of our pre‑school children.
Responsibilities
 * Planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS framework.
 * Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure, and confident to explore.
 * Supporting and encouraging toileting with young children.
 * Assisting with the personal care of young children, including babies and under‑2‑year‑olds.
 * Helping with mealtimes, including feeding and cleaning up.
 * Supporting continuous provision, fostering curiosity in learning, and promoting a mix of indoor and outdoor learning to enhance children’s development and understanding of the wider world.
 * Observing and assessing children’s progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to their individual learning journeys.
 * Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
 * Ensuring the well‑being and safety of all children in your care, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
 * A full Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent recognised qualification).
 * Previous experience working in a pre‑school or nursery setting with young children.
 * A comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
 * A genuine passion for working with young children, understanding their unique developmental needs.
 * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills.
 * Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
 * A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive early years environment.
