Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces. Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Judgement. Team player. Experience: Experience an asset.
