Compliance & Risk Team Manager – Product Certification UK/EU - homebased w ith some travel required Application closing date: 2 March 2026 About the role Our Compliance and Risk (C&R) team within Regulatory Services is looking for a Compliance and Risk Team Manager to lead and manage all aspects in compliance and risk in Product Certification. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the Compliance and Risk Team -Product Certification Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of Compliance and Risk Management for Product Certification Analyse data and monitor KPIs relating to product certification and contribute to dashboards and performance reports Communicate data to senior managers and technical leads to inform decisions and remedial actions such as expired certificates/certificates coming up to expiry Be responsible for the product certification internal audit programme, ensuring that all aspects of the internal audit programme are delivered in accordance with the plan In partnership with the Product Certification Operations team facilitate the effective management of the Product Certification Operations and Compliance meeting Ensure full support for the delivery of the internal audit programme for Product Certification Lead internal audits and the management of any nonconformity and conduct effectiveness reviews Provide expertise on compliance and risk activities in external audits and presentations to accreditation bodies as appropriate Participate in the C&R Senior Management Team and wider GRC leadership meetings as appropriate Work strategically to drive continuous quality improvement in Product Certification To be successful in the role, you will have: Degree in relevant subject area or equivalent experience Extensive work experience in a relevant sector e.g. regulation, product development, certification A high level of knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and awareness in the field of product certification Extensive awareness of risk management processes and standards Demonstrable communication skills with an ability to work productively with a wide range of stakeholders BSI offers a competitive total reward package, an independent and varied job in an international environment, flexible working hours, ongoing training and development with the inclusion of different benefits depending on the country you are based in.
