*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Support Workers to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals who may have a learning disability, mental health diagnosis or are autistic. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate nature and a genuine desire to support others.
The role we are recruiting for will commence in Biddulph (Congleton rd).
*Responsibilities*
* Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care and medication administration
* Maintain the safety and security of the home throughout the waking hours which are 07:00 to 22:00.
* Provide emotional support and companionship
* Implement behaviour management strategies when necessary
* Support individuals Learning disabilities, who may have Forensic and Complex needs
* Drive Licence not essential but would be an advantage
*Skills*
* Experience in care or a similar role is advantageous
* Proficiency in first aid procedures and ligature rescue or willingness to learn
* Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively
* Competence in meal preparation
* A caring attitude towards those in your care and towards the rest of the team
NOTEABLE POINT:
Unfortunately we do not offer sponsorship.
We are looking for applicants wishing to work full time.
The contract will also include sharing the sleep in duties with the rest of the team and sleep in is paid at £75 per night.
The role will include lone working.
