What You’ll Do:
Be the go-to expert on breakdowns and maintenance – fast, effective fixes are your bread and butter.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to a high standard.
Drive OEE and performance improvement across the plant.
Tackle electrical and mechanical faults with confidence and skill.
Champion Health & Safety, Food Safety, and GMP standards.
Collaborate with production, management, and contractors – your voice matters here.
What I’m Looking For:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an engineering role (food industry experience highly valued).
NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
A proactive mindset with a natural ability to troubleshoot and take initiative.
Ability to read manuals, interpret technical drawings, and use PPM systems effectively.
Physically fit and comfortable working in warm environments and at height.
Great to Have:
Experience with metal detectors, mixers, depositors, or flow wrappers.
Background in a Food /FMCG environments
