We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join our team as a Principal Accountant. This is a pivotal role that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial sustainability of our borough. You will play a key role in maintaining our strong history of financial stability and driving continuous improvement across all financial functions. As the Principal Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring service level budgets and liaising with key stakeholders, providing financial guidance and ensuring stewardship and probity. You will also assist the Finance Manager in their duties and deputise for them as required.
