We are recruiting for an skilled and experienced Nursery Room leader to lead and manage a 28 place Preschool room in our West Wickham nursery. This is a great opportunity for an established room leader looking for a new challenge, or an Early Years educator looking to progress in their career and step into a leadership position.

* To plan and prepare purposeful learning opportunities using a range of creative approaches which foster curiosity both indoors and out.

* Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
* To assist in the development and support of other staff members by communicating effectively, sharing knowledge, experience and delegating tasks appropriately
* To co-operate and work effectively with the manager, taking on additional responsibilities/duties where necessary and positively promoting developments in policies and procedures to team members.

Requirements
* A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare.
* Experience of working with under 2’s.
* Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
* A secure understanding of the EYFS and development matters.
* An enthusiastic, positive and proactive attitude to work.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Ability to work in partnership with parents.
* Comply with all Rainbow Day Nurseries’ policies and procedures.
* To participate in training and other learning activities/meetings as required.
* Hold an appropriate first aid qualification or be willing to undertake one.
