What you’ll be doing
The Project Manager is a key role within People’s Partnership’s Group Change function. Group Change delivers the organisation’s multi-million-pound change portfolio, comprising its top priority strategic projects. The Project Manager will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects on time and on budget, managing issues, risks and dependencies to achieve defined objectives.
* Lead a multi-disciplinary project team to develop and deliver critical projects, either as standalone projects or within a programme.
* Deploy an appropriate methodology (Waterfall, Agile/SCRUM, iterative) in line with project success criteria.
* Lead the development of project documentation across the full project lifecycle, including PIDs, RAID logs, stage gate reports, and maintenance of project files.
* Ensure efficient allocation of project resources with clear roles and responsibilities; manage third-party contributions in collaboration with the vendor management office.
* Establish controlled project quality procedures and administer related plans including quality, testing and implementation plans.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a project management role with budget management.
* Strong competencies in scope definition, planning, risk & issue management, benefit realisation and project governance.
* Working experience of Waterfall project/programme management; appreciation of Agile/iterative techniques.
* People management skills including team capability development and change best practices.
* Prince2 and Agile Scrum qualifications would be advantageous.
