Job Role: Mobile/Workshop Plant Fitter
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £46,000-£52,000 base salary
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-17.00 + Overtime
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 30 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard another experienced engineer. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes.
The package:

The Requirements:
6. Previous experience working in the Plant,(essential)
7. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
8. Experience working on engines would be advantageous
9. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
10. CSCS Card
11. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
12. Full UK Drivers License
The Responsibilities:
13. Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
14. Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
15. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
16. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
17. Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
18. Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
19. Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
