A great opportunity to join a busy production environment as a Shift Maintenance Engineer, supporting the smooth running of industrial roasting and packing machinery.
Working across a rotating three‑shift pattern, you'll carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns and help drive continuous improvement across the site. This role suits someone hands‑on, proactive and confident working in a fast‑moving manufacturing setting.
Role & Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, including electrical fault finding and repairs
* Work closely with the engineering team to keep plant assets running efficiently and support continuous improvement
* Respond quickly to equipment stoppages, implementing fixes and supporting modifications to machinery and processes
* Complete routine PPM checks, recalibrate equipment and replace parts in line with maintenance schedules
* Perform general site maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene and equipment presentation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Strong electrical fault finding skills, with experience of PLC‑controlled systems
* Mechanical experience
* Confident working under pressure with solid problem‑solving ability
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to learning
* Comfortable using digital platforms and adaptable to changing workloads and shift patterns
