Overview of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Flat Roofing Estimator to join the team based in Pembridge. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,500 - £27,500 per annum.
As our Trainee Flat Roofing Estimator, you will be required to produce formal estimates which are in line with current market conditions, competitive and commercially attractive.

Your responsibilities as our Trainee Flat Roofing Estimator:
Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you will provide budget costs and formal quotations based on a variety of information. You will ensure the costs are in line with the information specified and are commercially viable and competitive.
What we are looking for in our Trainee Flat Roofing Estimator:
Strong arithmetic skills are essential for this role. Ideally, you will also have some knowledge of construction and building practices, along with a willingness to develop an understanding of market routes and contractual frameworks. While experience with AutoCAD is advantageous, it is not required, as full training will be provided.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities, be proficient with computers, and have experience using Microsoft Office applications. A keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently under deadlines, and strong numerical proficiency are key to success in this position. Teamwork is also vital, so being a collaborative team player is important.
