We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client, working a double day shift. Excellent rates of pay plus shift allowance.

* Hourly Rate: Excellent per hour
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for yourself and others to ensure work is carried out safely and in line with the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Ensure the quality of your work, including cleaning and de-burring of parts.
* Support a culture of 5S and safety in your work practices.
* Set machines using setup sheets, tooling/fixtures, and Edgecam programs provided by the Production Engineering Department.
* Operate machines according to specified speeds and feeds, monitoring performance to meet cycle time targets.
* Conduct in-cycle inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers, and coordinate measuring machines; complete Actual Dimensional Report Sheets (ADRS) as required.
* Provide feedback for program improvements by completing Program Prove Out Improvement Requests when necessary.
* Support multi-manning where machinery and product types allow.
* Assist with the company's apprenticeship program through on-the-job support.
* Report non-conforming parts immediately, establishing and documenting root causes, and inform the Machine Shop Supervisor.
* Perform other duties as assigned to meet company and customer objectives.

Personal Skills / Qualifications
* Full indentured apprenticeship or equivalent experience highlighted on CV.
* Experience in workshop practices and production machining, manual and CNC.
* Experience working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy materials.
* Good numerical and literacy skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet use.
