Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes* plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.

Medical Director Duties
* Work closely with Chair of the Department of Urology, Jacksonville, regarding strategy, budgeting, operations, and academic affairs.
* Lead the patient care team, collaborating with clinic leadership to ensure efficient, high‑quality operations.
* Work with the practice manager to develop the budget and improve clinic processes.
* Foster a positive, professional work environment with strong communication and teamwork.
* Participate in staff and provider meetings to address concerns and implement improvements.
* Ensure safe and effective clinic operations for patients, staff, and physicians.
* Serve as a liaison between the clinic and key leadership to support operations and resolve issues.
* Optimize billing and reimbursement processes in collaboration with Accounts Receivable.
* Keep leadership informed on practice updates, challenges, and initiatives.
* Attend medical director and provider meetings, contributing to committees and task forces as needed.
* Oversee daily clinical operations, supervising providers and the practice manager to maintain high patient‑care standards.
Required Qualifications
* Licensed to practice medicine in Florida in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus five years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
* Federal DEA Certification.
Preferred
* Medical degree – MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
