Our client, a leader in the Utilities and Engineering sector, is seeking a Business Consultant to join their Engineering Support Services (ESS) team. What You'll Do:
As a Business Consultant, you will be at the forefront of project execution, with responsibilities that include:
Business Identification & Engagement:
* utilise your technical expertise to enhance performance across key service lines.
* Build strong relationships with Business Units (BUs) to identify value-adding opportunities.
* Facilitate discussions to understand business needs and transformation goals.
Proposal Development:
* Collaborate with delivery partners and stakeholders to craft tailored solutions.
* Lead the development of proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with objectives.
* Present proposals to secure stakeholder buy-in.
Project Planning & Execution:
* Lead blueprinting sessions to define project objectives and success criteria.
* Develop robust project plans that include risk management and resource allocation.
* Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Collaboration & Team Leadership:
* Inspire and lead the delivery team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Promote cross-functional collaboration to optimise outcomes.
* Conduct post-delivery reviews to evaluate success and gather feedback.
What We're Looking For:
* A degree or Master's level education (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery within a complex regulatory environment.
* Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate dynamic priorities.
* Technical knowledge in any of the ESS key service lines and a solid understanding of change management approaches.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
* Experience in proposal development and project planning, preferably in utilities.
Project Management certification is desirable.
