Salary: £85,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:
* Expertise in C# .Net Core backend software development, with experience working on large, scalable systems with complexity.
* Strong knowledge of Azure and SaaS technologies.
* Proven technical project leadership experience.
* Advocate for creating clean, reusable, and maintainable code, and familiarity with modern Microsoft software engineering best practices.
* Good understanding of security and Identity Access Management (IAM) in Azure.
* Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms.
* Good knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Likely degree educated in a relevant STEM discipline.
Responsibilities:
* As a Lead Software Engineer, you will collaborate, problem solve, and provide technical leadership to a small team of senior engineers. You will build the first generation of a highly complex SaaS platform that enables Insurance brokers to manage reserves and ensure compliance with reserving regulations. Your role involves working across the full development lifecycle, liaising with senior stakeholders to discover and break down requirements, and taking ownership to deliver secure cloud-based resources, solutions, and services.
