We are seeking an outstanding Director of Sport to lead and develop sport and physical education across a prestigious private school. This is a rare opportunity to build on an already strong sporting culture, including national success and to inspire participation and excellence across all sports.
The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for sport, an excellent leader of people, and a high-quality classroom practitioner. The role includes teaching PE, with experience of teaching A Level PE essential.
The Role
* Lead the strategic development of sport and PE across the school
* Inspire high levels of participation and elite performance
* Line manage PE staff and coaches
* Oversee the PE curriculum (including GCSE and A Level)
* Promote inclusion, wellbeing and enjoyment of sport
* Develop links with feeder schools and the wider sporting community
The Person
* Proven leadership in school sport or equivalent
* Experience teaching A Level Physical Education (essential)
* Strong communicator xsngvjr and motivator
* Commitment to girls' sport and student wellbeing
* Willing to support fixtures, tours and school events
