Job Description
As the Lead Nurse in Dementia, youwill manage all aspects of clinical practice on the ward, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice, local and national guidance and relevant professional standards.
?Providing support to the General Manager in day-to-day clinical management of the unit, the post holder will ensure a safe environment for all patients accessing the service. Promotion of the highest standards of care will be integral to the role, ensuring thatco-ordinated packages of care are provided through effective and timely liaison with other health professionals.
KeyResponsibilities:
Lead the Nursing and Healthcare team to ensure safe and effective nursing practices are embedded throughout Schoen Clinic York. Work with the General Manager to ensure the rota is safely staffed to meet the needs of the service. Participate in the on-call rota, managing day to day ward issues in line with Schoen Clinic policies. Audit the on-call requirements with the nursing team and be aware and knowledgeable of when it is appropriate to the escalate matters to the medical or management team.Further duties will include (but not limited to):
