Job Title: PE Support Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediately/January 2026 Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you enjoy inspiring students through physical activity, teamwork, and healthy routines? GSL Education are currently appointing PE Support staff to work within schools across Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas, assisting with the delivery of structured and engaging physical activities. In this role, PE Support staff will assist with sports sessions, practical activities, and movement-based learning, helping students participate safely, confidently, and positively. Prime Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and delivery of physical education activities and sessions. Support students during sports lessons, indoor and outdoor activities. Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour during sessions. Help set up and clear away equipment safely and efficiently. Supervise students to ensure health, safety, and wellbeing at all times. Work closely with staff to maintain a structured and energetic environment. Requirements: Previous experience supporting children or young people in an active or educational setting, suitable for a PE Support role. An enthusiastic and reliable approach to working with students. Ability to promote safe practice and follow instructions clearly. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A strong awareness of safeguarding and student welfare.
