We are working with a leading Housing Association who are looking to recruit a Part-Time Estate Services Caretaker to support the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of their residential estates.
This is a hands-on, site-based role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being visible within the community, and wants to make a positive day-to-day impact for residents.
Key responsibilities
Carry out daily and periodic estate inspections, including lighting checks and minor replacements
Clean and maintain communal internal and external areas to a high standard
Use powered cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Act as a visible and approachable presence for residents on site
Report health & safety issues, repairs, or concerns in line with procedures
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure estates remain safe, clean, and well presentedRequirements
Previous experience in caretaking, estate services, or cleaning roles
Confident using powered cleaning equipment
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential – company van provided)
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
