About the Role
We are looking for a consultant to deliver consultant‑led, efficient, safe, and patient‑centred care in Respiratory, with particular interest in TB, asthma, EBUS, Bronchiectasis, and ILD.
Responsibilities
* Provide respiratory ward cover.
* Attend outpatient clinics for routine, urgent, and suspected lung cancer cases.
* Advise and give guidance to primary care.
* Perform pleural procedures.
* Carry out EBUS, bronchoscopy and other thoracic interventional diagnostic procedures.
* Provide GIM on‑call cover.
* Contribute to the ILD pathway development and multidisciplinary meetings.
* Use state‑of‑the‑art facilities for flexible bronchoscopy, full lung function, interventional bronchoscopies, and pleural procedures at both acute sites.
* Participate in the sleep service and home ventilation service activities.
Qualifications
* Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or within six months of the award of CCT by interview date.
* Equivalent (CESR) at time of applying, on the GMC Specialist Register.
