As a Deputy Manager, you will be supporting to manage a home that is making a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people - in a role that is both challenging and immensely rewarding.
*The role includes:*
* Supporting the Home Manager to deliver outcomes and Manage the day to day running of the home
* Leading a team of talented carers and support staff to help provide outstanding care to the children and young people with a range of complex needs and emotional behavioral difficulties
* Managing the home to an outstanding standard, meeting and exceeding all regulatory requirements
* Ensuring the care team is providing high quality, integrated therapeutic care and education for the children and young people living with us; creating and sustaining a therapeutic and stable atmosphere that they can call home
* Working closely with the Manager and Service Manger to meet the organisation's aims and objectives.
* Are you an experienced strong Deputy looking for your next challenge or a Team leader / Senior with experience in residential care
* On call - rota basis

*The role requires:*
· Experience working with children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties and complex needs, residential experience preferred
· 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager within Residential Childcare or extensive Senior / Team leader experience in children's residential care
Flexibility to work on evenings/ weekends to meet the needs of the home / Sleep ad hoc shifts
· Full driving licence with access to own transport
· Level 4 or 5 Diploma/NVQ in Leadership and Management or Registered Manager Award (or working towards completion) - required
· Strong leadership skills
· Flexibility to work on evenings/ weekends to meet the needs of the home.
· A can do attitude and positive outlook
· A ability to manage behaviours with a calm and supportive approach

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
