Job Description:
Supporting a 2 year old little girl with a Tracheostomy in her own home. The client requires care during the night, and tasks include but are not limited to: Tracheostomy care and suctioning, nebulisers, medication & feed administration via NG tube, manual handling, checking observations and personal care.
Hours: NIGHTS 10pm-8am

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.
Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.
Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
A minimum of 6 months care experience with previous experience or knowledge with Tracheostomy care. Previous experience working with Children is also desired.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
