Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in people's lives? We are seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide essential care and support for elderly and disabled individuals in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assisting service users with dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
* Household Tasks: Making and changing beds, light cleaning, and helping with the general upkeep of their homes.
* Meal Preparation: Preparing light meals and assisting service users at mealtimes if required.
* Medication Administration: Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
* Emotional Support: Building positive relationships with service users, offering emotional support, companionship, and helping them maintain independence in their daily lives.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills: in English (both written and spoken).
* Caring and compassionate nature: Genuine passion for helping others.
* Driving Licence: Must be a confident driver, holding a valid driver's licence and willing to travel between service users’ homes.
What We Offer:
* Gross Pay: £11.44 per hour.
* Full-time hours: minimum 37.5 hours per week.
* Paid Holidays: 28 days of paid leave (pro rata).
* Training and Development: Ongoing professional development and the chance to earn additional qualifications.
