Job Description: About This Role Job Title: EYFS Teacher (Maternity Cover) Location: Leeds Salary: £165–£210 per day (dependent on experience) Leader Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a wonderful primary school in the Leeds area. This is a maternity cover position starting January 2026, working on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring each child receives the best possible start to their education. This is a full teaching role and will include planning, preparation, assessment, and participation in staff meetings and parent consultations. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive and develop socially, emotionally, and academically. Role Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within the EYFS. ECTs are welcome to apply if they have strong early years placement experience. A thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning effectively. A passion for early education and supporting young learners to reach their full potential.
