Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography and global issues.
* Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and parents' evenings.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience working as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Commitment to raising achievement and promoting student success.
* A positive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
