People & culture intern (6-month - full time / part time - ftc)

The Arts Club

Offer description

A Stage Unlike Any Other

In 1863, a group of artists, writers, and free
thinkers gathered with a shared conviction: that the finest conversation, the
boldest ideas, and the warmest hospitality belonged together under one roof.
Charles Dickens dined here. Whistler argued here. Rodin was inspired here.

The Arts Club was born not as a venue, but as a
living expression of creative life — and it has never stopped.

At the heart of that life today are the people and
spaces that bring our club to life every day. This is more than an operation —
it is an environment where members connect, create, and return time and time
again because something about it feels truly special.

It takes an exceptional person to be part of that.

That person might be you.

We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Intern (full time or part time) to join the team and play a key role in fostering a positive work environment that reflects our commitment to service excellence and providing support across the club while assisting in the day to day running of our vibrant People & Culture Department.

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Officer, the People & Culture Intern will provide hands-on support across core HR functions and People & Culture projects. This role offers exposure to onboarding compliance, HR systems, learning and development, internal communications, and policy documentation. The Intern will play a key role in supporting day-to-day P&C operations while also contributing to structured audit and improvement projects, ensuring processes are accurate, well-organised, and consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support updates to recruitment platforms, internal documentation, SOPs, and policies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and correct formatting.

2.
Assist with onboarding administration, including reviewing employee documentation, tracking outstanding items, and maintaining audit checklists.

3.
Support HR systems administration, including data entry for starters, leavers, contractual changes, and probation records.

4.
Assist with Learning & Development activities, including maintaining training records, supporting LMS structures, and testing training modules.

5.
Create and support internal People & Culture communications, including posters, visual materials, and content for the employee engagement platform.

6.
Organise and maintain digital HR files in line with data protection, filing standards, and version control requirements.

7.
Provide flexible administrative and project support to the People & Culture team as required.

About You

8. You have a genuine interest in Human Resources / People & Culture and are keen to learn and develop your skills.

9.
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing confidential information with discretion.

10.
You have strong written communication skills and a professional approach to administration.

11.
You are proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

12.
You are comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

13.
You are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HR systems such as Harri, Mapal One, or Beekeeper is an advantage but not essential.

14.
You bring a positive, service-focused attitude and are eager to contribute to a supportive People & Culture function.

In return, we offer an excellent range of rewards and benefits, including:

* Private medical benefits
* Life Assurance
