We're seeking someone to join our Finance Central Management Projects team as an Associate in the COO Office to support delivery across a portfolio of projects including Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. This is an Associate level position within our Portfolio and Change Management job family which manages strategic change management, process re‑engineering, and establishment of control procedures for projects with a focus on milestone delivery, risk and issue management, and communication across stakeholders to keep programs on track.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm.
* Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products.
* Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
* Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards.
* Business analysis in support of the Capital/Financial Regulatory Reporting project stream in an Agile environment.
* Liaison with Clients and IT colleagues to identify new requirements, create user stories and track prioritisation and remediation.
* Develop collaborative relationships with a squad working across different departments and regions.
* Lead and/or contribute to key project work streams relating to buildout of evolving regulatory rules.
Qualifications
* Working knowledge of Finance functional area, industry and competitive environment.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt to various audiences.
* Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers.
* Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage to tight deadlines whilst balancing multiple priorities.
* Strong analytical, organisational and documentation skills with an ability to understand processes and key controls.
* Experienced in implementing change effectively to improve existing processes.
* Experience of data modelling and investigation with the ability to identify issues, develop and implement practical solutions.
* Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients of all levels.
* At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
