Your new companyYou will be working for a market-leading manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years. Following on from multiple years of double-digit growth, this business is looking to be market leaders in its respective industry. Your new roleYou will be working as a Junior Buyer - as part of the procurement and buying team, you will support and partner with the wider business to help deliver ongoing value while managing a critical supplier base. You will help by undertaking a wide range of analytical tasks such as: spend and risk reports, supplier performance, tenders and market data. You will support the wider team through supplier negotiations across a range of categories such as logistics, energy, raw materials, HR etc. This role will work closely with the wider procurement function and will allow you to take your procurement career to the next level. What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have some prior procurement experience, and a base knowledge of basic procurement functions, key objectives and deliverables. A strong working knowledge of Excel is essential to allow you to hit the ground running in this role from day one. You should be driven and inquisitive with a desire to support a rapidly growing business and achieve its ambitious growth plans over the coming years. You must have excellent communication skills and be confident to engage with external stakeholders.
