Are you a driven Quantity Surveyor looking to work on some of Londons most prestigious residential and commercial construction and refurbishment projects?
Based in Harrow, London, our client is a respected principal contractor with a single, unwavering aim: to build to perfection. For over 30 years, they have built an outstanding reputation delivering exceptional quality across high-end residential and commercial schemes throughout London. Craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail are at the core of everything they do.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
The Role
You will take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered profitably while upholding the companys high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
* Managing subcontractor procurement and negotiations
* Monitoring project costs, variations, and cash flow
* Producing valuations and managing final accounts
* Financial reporting across multiple projects
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
* BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within high-end residential and/or commercial construction
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially astute
* Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
