SEN Teacher
Location: Tokers Green, Reading
Salary: £32,916 – £47,472 p.a. (M1- UPS1)** Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus For Qualified Teacher*

School Staffing Solutions are recruiting of a SEN Teacher for a SEN School in Reading. This school supports children aged 6-16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, moderate to severe learning needs, and associated challenges.

Opportunity
We are currently looking to recruit a teacher to join our expanding team and work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to aid the smooth running of the school.
Key Responsibilities
6. Lead teaching and learning for assigned pupils, ensuring progress and wellbeing
7. Supervise and mentor support staff
8. Take curriculum leadership responsibility: Monitor standards Support colleagues Advise on resources Lead CPD sessions
9. Contribute to school planning and uphold our values in daily practice
About you:
Qualifications & Experience
10. PGCE, QTS or equivalent
11. Experience in SEN/ASD/SLD settings (desirable)
12. Strong planning, assessment, and behaviour management skills
13. Confident mentoring and coaching of support staff
14. Skilled in adapting communication and teaching approaches
15. Good IT skills and understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning
