The Assistant Director of Housing will lead the delivery of housing, care and support services, ensuring they are safe, person centred, compliant and financially sustainable, while achieving excellent outcomes for residents and commissioners.
Key responsibilities include
* Providing strategic and operational leadership across housing, care and support services.
* Ensuring high standards of quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance across all services.
* Using performance data, resident feedback and quality insight to drive continuous improvement.
* Leading service improvement activity and embedding learning from complaints, incidents and inspections.
* Building strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, health partners and other stakeholders.
* Leading and contributing to tender submissions, competitive bids and service development activity.
* Holding accountability for budgets, financial performance and value for money across services.
* Championing resident engagement, equality, diversity and inclusion.
We are keen to speak with candidates who bring
* Significant senior level experience within housing, care and support, supported housing, health or social care.
* A strong track record of leading regulated services, including inspections and safeguarding governance where applicable.
* Proven experience of managing large budgets, commissioning arrangements and contract performance.
* Experience of working with Boards, Committees and senior stakeholders.
* Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills with a values led approach.
* Commercial and strategic capability, balancing quality, compliance and financial sustainability.
