We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Supply Chain team on a 6‑month temporary assignment. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing supplier relationships while making strategic purchasing decisions, we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity
As a Temporary Buyer you will play a key role in supporting our Supply Chain team by:
* Procuring materials and services in line with business requirements.
* Making tactical buying decisions using and updating our ERP system.
* Assisting in strategic purchasing activities particularly for indirect spend.
* Ensuring the best balance of quality delivery and cost across all procurement activity.
* Managing supplier relationships and acting as the key point of contact between vendors and internal stakeholders.
* Capturing and recording Country of Origin data when required.
About You
* Proven experience in a purchasing / procurement role with a strong emphasis on indirect spend.
* Confidence in handling supplier negotiations, contracts and resolving supply chain challenges.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Experience with ERP systems and a solid understanding of procurement processes.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external suppliers.
