Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques to determine necessary repairs.
* Repair or replace defective parts and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
* Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
* Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety protocols.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology are advantageous but not mandatory.
