As a Planning Engineer, you’ll be the engine behind programme performance — coordinating data, guiding project timelines, and helping teams stay one step ahead. With hybrid flexibility and a comprehensive reward package, it’s the ideal role for someone ready to grow, contribute, and lead.
What You’ll Take Charge Of
* Developing and managing cost- and resource-loaded schedules that reflect project realities
* Tracking progress and highlighting risks before they escalate
* Working closely with Project Controls and Reporting teams to deliver aligned, accurate schedules
* Creating and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS)
* Consolidating supplier and partner schedules into a single, integrated master programme
* Running scenario planning to test options and keep delivery on track
* Supporting the Planning Manager with continuous improvement across the planning function
What You’ll Bring to the Table
* A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
* Experience planning within infrastructure, construction, or major capital projects
* Confident use of Primavera P6 and strong Excel capability
* Organised, proactive, and able to communicate clearly across all levels
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and structure
* Strong Salary Banding: £40,000–£60,000 depending on experience
