Deliver Grand Central’s commercial analysis, insight and trading reporting activities to deliver a comprehensive understanding and full visibility of Grand Central’s trading performance and industry trends and to make recommendations to improve Grand Central’s commercial performance. Proactively identify and understanding emerging trends and drivers of customer behaviour to make recommendations and implement actions to optimise Grand Central’s Revenue Management & Marketing activity. This includes working closely with the RM, Pricing & Retail Manager and the Senior Marketing & Comms Manager to deliver the commercial plan. Assist the Commercial Analysis Manager in Delivery of full Revenue and Demand forecasting processes to Grand Central, assisting in maintaining a detailed set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Become a SME for GC’s Revenue Forecasting Model; optimising the model’s performance and evolving its functionality to support our businesses and align with industry best practice. Support the improvement and development of our data analysis and reporting capabilities in the Arriva BI platform for GC in utilising the system. Support the Commercial Analysis Manager to automate and develop our commercial reporting through use of the Arriva BI platform, with support from the wider AUKT BI team. Support GC’s Revenue claims process ensuring GC protects its revenue and gains value from Income Allocation Disputes (IAD) with other TOCs & Sustained Planned Disruption (SPD) claims with Network Rail. Support revenue modelling, analysis and evaluation of business development initiatives for GC and other Rail Services businesses as required, including timetable changes, additional services, strengthening services, new routes and impact of engineering and contingency planning.
