About the role
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Caretaker to support the day-to-day operations of multisite. This is a vital role in ensuring the premises remains safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained.
Additionally, you will be involved in numerous tasks including but not limited to:
* Carrying out general maintenance, minor repairs, and basic DIY tasks
* Supporting cleaning staff and occasionally stepping in if needed
* Monitoring and maintaining health & safety standards on-site
* Always ensure safe pedestrian access, including keeping paths and entrances clear of leaves and moss, as well as gritting and snow clearing during severe weather.
* Reporting faulty equipment, any damage, and other safety hazards to line manager.
* Carry out maintenance checks to the plant and equipment.
* Check for internal and external building fabric damage and action as appropriate by first-hand repair or by liaison with Management for further remedial action.
* Assisting with stop and search when required
About you
* A willingness to be flexible with hours and tasks.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
* Must be happy to complete a DBS check (if not already on the Update Service)

Pay: £22,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
