Travel Health Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic registered health professionals with experience in vaccination practice and clinical consultation to join our team and be part of the new Travel Health Service in NHS Grampian.
Travel Health is a complex area and requires Nurses to have excellent time management skills and work autonomously, to undertake comprehensive travel health consultations, risk assessment and management and administering travel health advice. Vaccinations are delivered within the framework of NHS Grampian Patient Group Directive
Essential Skills:
Registered Nurse with experience in nursing and vaccination practice, ideally with experience in travel health. Previous experience of assessing for and delivering vaccinations is essential. Travel health training would be advantageous, but will also be provided.
The posts are being offered as a permanent position.
Part time hours/job share will be considered
The role will require staff to travel across NHS Grampian and occasional Saturday hours.
If you have experience in clinical consultation, and vaccine administration, including travel health; can communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues, and have a positive team working approach we would welcome your application.
