Infrastructure Support Engineer — Blaenavon, South Wales — Competitive salary
What You'll Do
* You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the business. Working closely with the wider infrastructure team, you’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network applications, and supporting end users.
* Your responsibilities will include monitoring systems, performing routine backups, ensuring security protocols are upheld, and maintaining documentation for disaster recovery.
* You’ll also assist in mentoring junior team members and help deliver ad-hoc IT projects when needed.
What You\'ll Bring
* Strong technical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
* A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
* Confidence to challenge and improve existing processes
* Solid organisational skills and a proactive mindset
* Experience working under pressure and managing multiple tasks
* GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
* Ideally, a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies or NVQ Level 2 in IT Practitioners
