People Partner II - London, Manchester or Gateshead
The People Success Partner II is an Operational HR Generalist/Employee Relations role and not an HR Business Partner (HRBP) role.

The People Success Partner II is an HR Generalist role within a highly collaborative team of People Success Partners in The People Success UK and Europe team. You will be aligned to a specific Business Unit within the UK.
This role can be based in any of our main hub offices across the UK (London, Manchester, or Gateshead). You will be required to be in an office 2 days a week.
Responsibilities
1. Employee Relations
2. Managing disputes, grievances, performance management, PIPs, compliance issues, disciplinary actions, short-term and long-term absence cases, including probation dismissals and appeals. Coaching and supporting managers and employees through these processes from start to finish.
3. Supporting senior People Partners in proactively engaging with leaders, training, and coaching them to prevent ER issues, identifying early warning indicators, and developing solutions.
4. Partnering with legal teams to maintain and update regional policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes and best practices. Providing guidance to employees and managers on policies.
5. Supporting managers and employees with family policies (maternity, paternity, shared parental leave), flexible working requests, and related questions.
Culture and Engagement
1. Supporting business areas with action plans and interventions to increase engagement and embed company values.
2. Acting as a change agent and culture champion.
Compensation
1. Using compensation tools to coach and support managers, ensuring understanding of compensation policies and their application.
2. Supporting senior team members with insights for pay reviews.
Learning & Development
1. Ensuring managers and employees understand available L&D resources and supporting the identification of learning needs.
Position Requirements
* Proven UK Employee Relations experience
* Knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
* Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
* Strong skills in HR systems and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong team player with a can-do attitude
