We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in Welwyn Garden City. This is a full-time, term-time role starting in September 2025, supporting students with a range of complex needs in a caring, well-resourced environment.
🧠The Role Involves Supporting Students With:
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
You will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential, both academically and personally, within a highly supportive team.
âś… Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN, particularly SLD, PMLD, and Autism
A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Ability to provide a minimum of 2 professional references
A passion for working in a specialist setting and making a real difference in children's lives.
