Is a boutique Building Services consultancy that has been on a strong growth trajectory since it was created 12 years ago. They are now approaching 30 strong in London and have the pipeline to continue growing and have recently moved into a brand-new office space to amodate this. They tend to work on a variety of interesting projects within the Heritage, Life Sciences,mercial and Residential sectors. They also put a massive focus on work-life balance and offer a 9-day fortnight schedule in which you can pick a day off every 2 weeks and, ultimately, it works out as around 50 days total holiday a year.
Your new role
It is as a Senior Electrical Engineer who can work on the engineering design, management of projects and teams, across multiple multi-million pound projects. You will support the directors by acting as the design lead on projects, promoting design excellence, and you will mentor and develop the skills of the engineers in their team. You will be involved in the conceptual and detailed design of projects within the Heritage,mercial and Life Sciences sectors.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong technical corepetence and background in project delivery. In addition, you will have a broad understanding of the principles of building services and other related building design disciplines and a desire to mentor and lead a team of Engineers.
You must also be-
1. Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering/Building Services.
2. Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical engineering design within the building services industry.
3. Experience leading junior engineers.
4. Experience leading teams on large-scale and oftenplex projects.
5. Experience in the delivery of all phases of a project from inception topletion, but specifically, design and quality control focused and dealing directly with the customer and project teams.
6. Experience and awareness of major digital engineering tools, such as CAD/Revit, and Amtech. You will also have experience of delivering projects in a BIM environment.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills
8. Ideally Chartered or willing to work towards.
