Our client, a leading specialist in innovative building solutions, is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding commercial team. This is a key role focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:


* Identify and qualify new business opportunities with key decision-makers
* Maintain and accurately update all activity and pipeline information using the CRM system (Deltek)
* Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and personal sales targets
* Stay fully informed on all product, pricing, and specification updates
* Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and corporate hospitality to build networks and elevate brand presence
* Confidently present tailored quotations and solutions to new and existing clients
* Use a consultancy-led sales approach to promote multi-product solutions
* Conduct targeted research and campaigns to proactively generate new leads
* Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts
* Deliver high levels of client service, resolving escalated complaints when required
* Ensure all departmental workflows and sales processes are followed
* Manage and grow existing accounts while ensuring healthy profit margins and increasing average order values
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline and cadence through self-monitoring and reporting
* Act as a brand ambassador for our client, upholding values and professionalism in all interactions
* Contribute actively to team development and business improvement initiatives
* Undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Head of Sales

About You:

* Proven success in a B2B sales or business development role within the facades/roofing/cladding sector
* Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to tailor solutions
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* High level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking
* Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
* Proficient with CRM systems (experience with Deltek is advantageous)
* Results-driven with a proactive and professional approach
