Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Assurance Process: Oversee the assurance process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Build and Manage the Assurance Team: Assemble and lead a team capable of providing the required level of assurance.
3. Documentation and Evidence: Own and manage the assurance case report, providing comprehensive documentation and evidence for service and security requirements.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with key stakeholders using the Technology & Security Assurance Argument Matrix. Attend team meetings and share business and technology drivers behind the assurance objectives.
5. Develop Common Goals: Align technology development plans with business blueprints and contracted obligations. Share commercial drivers such as budgets, margins, cost of sale, and ROI.
6. Team Collaboration and Support: Foster a team-oriented approach to the assurance argument. Encourage contributions from all team members and support each other.
7. Coaching and Mentoring: Listen to team members' challenges and concerns. Modify behaviour through coaching and mentoring. Have professional conversations related to assurance.
8. Hybrid Leadership: Communicate effectively with both business and technology teams. Use language that both teams understand to win the assurance argument.
Key Requirements:
9. Experience in Regulated Environments: Proven experience in aviation, military, defence, justice, pharmaceuticals, or similar fields. Experience leading complex transformations for solutions.
10. Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to matrix manage, lead with vision and purpose, delegate, problem-solve, and be accountable.
11. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of security and networking technical specifications and configurations.
12. Soft Skills: Confidence (critical), attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to articulate and distil complex information into simple actions.
